Western Powers Involved In Terrorism In Pakistan, TV Report Quotes ISI Chief

Gen. Ahmed Pasha said this to the government's committee on national security in a briefing today morning in Islamabad. Pakistani officials have collected piles of evidence over the past five years. This evidence indicates beyond doubt that US government agencies have turned Afghanistan into a hub for spy agencies from several countries, including India. Close cooperation between the Indians, Americans, Israelis and the Karzai intelligence setup under former Afghan spy chief Amrullah Saleh has been consistenly reported in Afghanistan. The Israeli intelligence presence is limited to cooperation with the Indian and the US effort in Afghanistan. These four agencies, in addition to two to three European spy agencies and two from the Middle East, have been sending spies, saboteurs and terrorists to Pakistan to achieve multiple objectives. The overall result has been to exploit local Pakistani individual assets to spread mayhem and terror inside Pakistan.

  1. We all know this, what's new?

The question is, will Pak army take a stand and throw out the americans in Pakistan or will as usual handover Pak civilians to cia.

  2. @ Imran: I disagree with you, because if you think the western countries are conspiring against Pakistan along with other spy agencies then Pakistan should sever its relationship with them, but it is not doing it because the politicians and other policy makers are not kids and they are aware of what’s in favor of the country. The cooperation has already resulted in a lot of positive gains and hopefully the war will end soon.

I have read the TV report.Unfortunately I could not log on my commenrts.

It is well known fact that era of conventional warfare is over.Nations acheive their objectives through subversive means through their intelligence agencies, as it is economical, internationally one is not condemend as an aggressor. It is no secret as how intelligence network works worldwide.Passive intelligence is just picking up information and reporting as DG ISI has done, whereas counter intelligence is an offensive role of the agencies.Ther is no use complaining. Those who have made heavy investments in Afghanistan or are operating in Pakistan, they will just deny the allegations. This concerns solidarity of our country.Such intelligence moves have to be aborted by strong counter intelligence measures. Now the question is,Has ISI lost the potential to counter such activities? In new set up, has the wings of ISI plucked and its role has been reduced to passive intelligence only.If my apprehensions are true then it is an alarming state for all of us.Those who are responsible to curtail the potential role of ISI, from within the house are more dangerous then those operating from across the border.

SOME ONE TO THROW LIGHT ON IT.

  6. From Mr. MEHBOON HUSSAIN via email:

With due regards,I make it a request that just donot get away by forming an opinion on what you see and hear on media.I make this statement with utmost honesty that there is no concept of terrorism in Islam.Islam is religion of peace, harmony and love for humanity and supressed ones. This concept of islamic terrorism has been invented to widen the gap between Islamic world and west.which is only in jewish interest. As regards situation in baluchistan,it needs to be viewed in an overall scenario.Situation in BAluchistan aggravated after construction of Gwadar Port and Chienese involvement at Gwadar.Gwadar port controls over the international oil route which in any case is not acceptable to the west.Secondly,Iran is also a key factor.Adjoining border is neede for the west to keep an eye and contain Iran before it gets out of hands.Having full fledge bases in baluchistan as a part of Pakistan, over its border with Iran may not be possible. These two factors have attracted foreign interest being pursued by their intelligence agencies, blaming ISI and FC for all acts of mysterious killings, aiming at gradually developing hatered against government institutions and aiding separitist movement.
We love peace as much as any other nation in the world.we need a secure and peaceful land for other children and their children. We are under developed nation, most of our resources are being eaten up by non productive expenses rather building up the country. But what has happened tous? We were pushed into a west proxy war against Russian invasion in Afghanistan.ISI had played a main role in tt.Talibans including Osama Bin Laden were westeren supported/freedom fighters now transformed as terrorist. After 9/11 USA had nothing against Talibans but entered Afghanistan to eliminate Al-Qaeda,As on today,Al-Qaeda has gone in the background and Talibans are on fore front.Pakistan can not be isolated from its dogmatic and geographical realities.Changes /developments in Afghanistan directly affect Pakistan.Pakistan has lost more soldiers then Western troops in Afghanistan but un-fortunately it remains un-acknowledged.As a aftermath of our cooperation with the west in Afghanistan, all our cities, mosques and plublic places has been targetted with number of casualities running into thousands. It will be unfair to deny us due credit and acknowledgement.

  7. Zainab,

Are you the same lady who left a comment at my blog?

As I explained in the my latest, quite comprehensive blog, the powers that be in Pakistan are easily 'blackmailable' because of their misdeeds, which is why they do not speak up against foreign intervention in Pakistan. Let me quote from my blog:

"Many of Pakistan’s top politicians and functionaries are neck deep in corruption and various fraudulent acts, which makes them susceptible to blackmail. Others are bought off with a combination of monetary bribes and threats of violence. Generally, there is little honest attempt at analysing Pakistan’s complex, rapidly changing situation and relating it to preceding events."

  9. i agree ---TOTALLY---with sakib ahmed about the selling out of pakistan... very very sad --we will all be held responsible for accepting this BUT the trouble is, who will bell the cat?? when will pakistan get a mahatir mohammad or kamal ataturk??? wishes wishes wishes... if only it could happen

  10. "Selling out Pakistan!?" Guys, you can disagree, but it is not a correct phrase! Believe you me our country is not a “banana-republic” or a cheap commodity in the vegetable market to be sold cheaply!

Actually, it all is a war between the cunning establishment and corrupt-to-the-core political elite—if they both come out of their selfishness, then Pakistan would be among the global leaders. Yes!

Don't worry. See light at the end of the tunnel! Be blessed Pakistan & Pakistanis!!

  11. but when the leaders sell out then it is selling out.. yes i agree.. pakistan has so much potential and so much natural resources and so much good working for it.. and yes it is very very important strategically for the west BUT ...at the moment sorry it is looking very much like a banana republic.. has to be rescued like a damsel in distress..from the clutches of evil selfishness and then yes it can be a power.. being nucleur and YET so submissive to the indian/israeli/american set is so sad and doesnt behove pakistan but there it is ...

  12. I DO NOT believe in this RUBBISH news.

Why is ISI passing the buck, Does it want to say that they cannot control counter-intelligence activities in its own country??????
