Lenin In Pakistan

Lenin in Pakistan? And Castro too. And Che Guevara.

Believe it or not, right in the heart of Pakistan. These pictures were taken last week at the 8th congress of the Communist Party of Pakistan [yes, we have one, too], headquartered in Hyderabad, Sindh.

The CCP's heydays were the 1970s, when communists and the Soviets were firmly lodged in next-door Afghanistan. The leaders of the CCP at the time entertained thoughts of a communist takeover in Pakistan. But the party never commanded large following in the country, though its rank and file boasted members from across the nation. These days, the CCP conducts peaceful politics and it's base is limited. But its presence is a sign of the colorful and lively political culture in Pakistan where different shades of opinion peacefully coexist, despite the bad repuation Pakistan has cultivated as a hub of religious violence after the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

  2. How strange! In our world of to-day, certain biggots call the under-developed countries the "Third World" and here we are in Pakistan, the best country in the world, yet showing signs of being attached to an out-dated,a totally failed ideaology called Communism. Historically, that was merely a ploy to subjugate world population and gain more control by the WZO (World Zionists Organisation). One has to turn a few pages to find out that in their pursue the zionists killed far more than 20,000,000 people in Russia only.
Does it not show us that there are certain people in Pakistan who have not an iota of awareness to the historical realities. Yet these simple-minded persons wish to delude for ever in darkness. Can they not sense that there is a Creator of mankind and He has granted us in the form of 'Quran' a comprehensive code of conduct for all relative aspects and for all times to come, sufficient to guide all mankind to adjust within His Grand Plan of the Universes. Why these people are allergic to reality?
